Program Notes:

Summer explores the idea of a conversation between the four instruments. The piece goes through different emotions as the conversation progresses between the group. One moment they are happy, agreeing with each other, another they are more somber, and another moment they are aggravated with each other. This piece also plays with usage of Morse Code to convey a very stern “Stop!”.
